BITTON’S HAMPDEN AIM

NIR BITTON hopes to get the nod from Ronny Deila to keep his place for the League Cup semi-final.

The Israeli midfielder has started 10 of the last 11 encounters after coming in for the injured Charlie Mulgrew.

Now he has set his sights on the Ibrox outfit at Hampden.

Bitton said: “I’ve heard that this is a special game.

“Obviously, we will do our best to win the game and reach the final.

“It doesn’t matter who the opposition is, we want to be victorious.

“We aim to reach the League Cup Final in our attempt to win every domestic trophy.

“Naturally, we’ll do our best to make our fans proud.”
