CELTIC loan flop Tyler Blackett is facing the boot from Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The new Old Trafford boss is ready to allow the 22-year-old defender to go to Reading.
Jaap Stam, who has taken over from Brian McDermott as manager of the Championship side, has already made a move to take Blackett on a temporary deal with the option of making it permanent.
The England Under-21 central defender or left-back was brought to Parkhead last summer by ex-boss Ronny Deila.
However, he failed to impress and made only four starts, the last of which was a 1-0 win over Motherwell at Fir Park on October 17.
Blackett joined United in 2012, but after only 12 appearances, he was loaned to Blackpool a year later and then was at Birmingham City the following season.
Deila then agreed a deal with Luis van Gaal to take the player to the Hoops, but he failed to impress during his rare outings.
