FORMER Celtic target Kim Bo-Kyung has agreed a deal with Wigan until the end of the season.

The 30-times capped South Korean international midfielder became a free agent after being released by Cardiff City last month.
Ronny Deila admitted an interest in the summer before switching his attention to the hapless Jo Inge Berget.Bo-Kyung, who was also watched by Neil Lennon before joining the Welsh club in August 2012, has passed a medical and is now awaiting international clearance before being reunited with Malky Mackay.

The 25-year-old said: “I am very happy to be joining up with the gaffer again.

“I really enjoyed working with him at Cardiff City and he has helped me so much in my career.”He gave me the chance to fulfil my dream of playing in England.

“Since becoming a free agent, I had various offers, but when the chance came to be with the gaffer again at Wigan, this really was the only place I wanted to come.”
