CELTIC legend Pat Bonner has admitted he is an admirer of on-fire hitman Leigh Griffiths.
The former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper believes the Scottish international has improved at his old club.
He said: “I like Leigh Griffiths and I think he has matured as a player.
“The only problem is – if you are defending in numbers and you knock the ball long, who is going to hold it up and allow time for the other players to support?
“Can Leigh Griffiths do that in European football? I’m not 100 per cent sure.
“I think Ronny Deila may start with Nadir Ciftci against Qarabag. I think he has been bought for European football.
“However, I must say I do like Leigh Griffiths and I think there are goals in him.”
