In the last 30 secs of the game last night, we had 4 players pass the ball around the halfway line or there about, with the full Borrusia team in their own half defending
What’s wrong with wanting the ball punted into the box at that stage ?
We still had 4 players available to defend any potential break if ball had been lost
And yes I know many may think better keeping possession and garaunteed 1 pt with €500k
We may have created a chance of 3pts and €1.5m with a 2nd goal
Anyway, still a happy Bhoy

I’ve got a mate coming up from London for that game.
Was talking to him at the weekend and he say’s business might get in the way.
Anyway short story is he has offered me the ticket If he can’t make it.
Midweek games are no good for me so if I get the ticket it is yours.
I’ll know by the weekend, however, if you get a chance of a ticket, grab it!

Next week is International week when even the meaning of life can be done to death. So lets enjoy the warm glow of a creditable performance but if you want to think ahead to next week perhaps this latest from E Tims on Res12 will get an airing?
yes I posted it earlier, but it’s the same old same old, going after the board, good article till they came away with the same old blame the board crap, it’s like a broken record, according to e Tims everything bad in Scottish football is CFC fault, it’s just so predictable IMO.
I never held out much hope for us last night but, I’m glad that this morning I’m wiping egg of my face and using it to make French Toast. Yeah, history didn’t repeat.
For us to turn 1 point into 3 at this level we require to up our speed of thought and take one less touch in the final third. That’s something we can develop as the raw ingredients are in all players but they need confidence in their football intelligence.
While Armstrong wasn’t at his best his aggression and energy was a delight and a compliment to Brown. His ball retention was distinctly poor, he lacked physicality for the night and his thought process was laboured, but he showed personality and willingness.
Oh, how I wish we could combine Tom Rogic’s Brisbane Zidane feet with the sharpness (both physical and mental) of Stindl. A “Rogindl” would be worth 3 Dembele’s.
But, from Gibraltar to Gladbach has been an enjoyable ride.

I enjoyed the game last night from a good sports bar in Covent Garden called Philomenas
Took the opportunity to read Stewart Weirs ( Head of Sport for The Herald ) match report. Wow —hurting big time. He makes Matt Lindsay look like Paul the Tim.
Together Weir & Lindsay with the promptings of Traynor have turned The Herald into a Sevco fanzine. I remember the Herald used to have balance with good journalists like Archer, Paul, Reynolds, Spiers etc. When I have a quick check on Weirs Twitter timeline it is understandable that the Herald Group Sports / Football dept consists of Weir, Lindsay, Mullen, Fisher, McPherson , Graeme, Chris Union Jack etc
I am amazed that The Herald / Sunday Herald / Evening Times have allowed this situation to happen and ignore the support of the biggest club in Scotland.
I can only see the circulation decline of the Herald accelerate and sponsors to drift away. It seems we have the lunatics in charge of the asuylum. The Herlad group will go through considerable downsizing and by end of next year the Sevco Sports Dept will be half its current size.
