BOSS WORKS A FLANKER

CELTIC boss Neil Lennon is weighing up a loan move for Leicester City winger Fousseni Diabate.

The Irishman has been alerted to the availability of the French-born Mali international who will be allowed to leave the Midlands outfit on a season-long temporary switch.

Diabate, 23, is up for grabs with former Hoops gaffer Brendan Rodgers willing to let him go out to get some game-time.

Lennon is still on the look-out for wide-men, despite having James Forrest, Mikey Johnston, Lewis Morgan, £2million Marian Shved, Jonny Hayes and forgotten man Scott Sinclair in his squad.

He has been linked with Bournemouth’s flanker Jordan Ibe, but the pursuit of the ex-Liverpool star is likely to be doomed, as CQN reported.

However, Lennon could be given encouragement to make a move for Diabate before Monday’s midnight transfer deadline.
