BOYATA IS BACK!

DEDRYCK BOYATA joined in with his Celtic team-mates as they prepared before the trip to Trondheim for tomorrow night’s Champions League second leg qualifier against Rosenborg.

The central defender was given an extra break following his participation in Belgium’s World Cup Finals stint in Russia where they took third place.

But the 27-year-old stopper has was back in place at Lennoxtown this morning as Brendan Rodgers put his squad through a loosening-up session.

Boyata, who is due to have crunch contract talks with the manager, looked fresh and raring to go.

Last week’s 3-1 first leg win at Parkhead has made the Hoops favourites to overcome the Norwegians and set up a third round meeting with Greek aces AEK Athens.

Rodgers, of course, has a headache over the central defensive position with Jozo Simunovic banned for the second successive game following his red card against Alashkert 13 days ago.
