CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers cleared up the mystery of the non-appearance of Charly Musonda in his squad this afternoon.

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder wasn’t even in the squad for the hard-fought 3-1 victory over Hearts, the Edinburgh club;s first loss at Tynecastle this season.

There have been reports the Stamford Bridge outfit may recall the 21-year-old Belgian who agreed an 18-month switch in January, but has started only three games.

Rodgers said: “Charly hurt his shoulder during the week. He has gone back to Chelsea to get treatment.

“He may or may not feature between now and the end of the season.

“But he is obviously a Chelsea player, so they want to look at him to make sure he is okay.”
