SKIPPER Scott Brown and defender Jozo Simunovic have agreed contract extensions.
The midfield powerhouse, who has been in wonderfully consistent form since Brendan Rodgers arrives, has agreed a two-year deal that will see him stay with the Hoops until at least 2019.
Simunovic, who signed from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015, has penned a new four-year contract until at least the summer of 2021.
It’s the perfect double boost as the club prepares for tomorrow night’s Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain at Parkhead.
We certainly had a different view of Celtic’s win at Hamilton than just about any other supporter. The away end was sold out, as it usually is, and Celtic supporters had a corner of the main stand which meant the ground was at capacity.
Well done to Hamilton for that.
