CELTIC skipper Scott Brown is banned for tomorrow night’s Betfred League Cup-tie against Kilmarnock at Parkhead.
The influential midfielder will miss out with a suspension carried over from last season.
Contract rebel Stuart Armstrong may get an opportunity to start in Brown’s absence or manager Brendan Rodgers may prefer to play Tom Rogic in the forward role with Saturday’s man of the match Callum McGregor dropping deeper to fill in for his suspended skipper.
Also on the sidelines will be striker Moussa Dembele, defenders Erik Sviatchenko and Dedryck Boyata with all three crocked and likely to be missing from first team action until next month.
The Hoops provisional squad is: Gordon, Lustig, Tierney, Gamboa, Ajer, Simunovic, Forrest, Sinclair, Armstrong, Bitton, Hayes, McGregor, Griffiths, Benyu, Ntcham, Kouassi, Ralston and De Vries.
