BUMPER CUP FINAL QUIZ

CELTIC have won the Scottish Cup a record FORTY-ONE times – and they aim to add another to that tally at Hampden this afternoon.

Everything is poised for a memorable showpiece showdown against Philippe Clement’s Ibrox side as the 3pm kick-off looms into view.

Brendan Rodgers is unbeaten at the national stadium and has no intention of having that sequence of success interrupted against opponents the champions have beaten three times in four Premiership outings this season with the other game tied at 3-3.

INVINCIBLE…Brendan Rodgers holds aloft the Scottish Cup after the dramatic 2-1 triumph over Aberdeen on May 27 2017 – the win that sealed the all-conquering unbeaten campaign.

Setting the scene for the big game, CQN are asking questions in our bumper quiz that covers the holders’ eleven appearances in the competition’s grand finale this century.

The Hoops have won TEN – with the only blip coming when Peter Lovenkrands stole in to head past Rab Douglas in the last minute to send Martin O’Neill’s side toppling to an unexpected loss in season 2001/02.

However, apart from that stumble, it has been a 100 per cent success story for Celtic.

Here are ten questions to test your knowledge of the Hoops at Hampden in the 21st Century. The answers will be provided when the line-up is announced later today.

Good luck!
