Calm it, Moussa

417

I’m now at the stage when I’m hoping people stop noticing Moussa Dembele. Last night’s two goals for France Unider-21s against their England counterparts further established the player’s reputation. He’s going to be on shopping list of every team with north of £20m to spend.

Great, if you’re struggling to buy out a valued retail partner, not so useful if you’re solvent and aspiring to build a Champions League reputation.

At a conference this week so will miss the AGM tomorrow.

  1. Regan will make a decision on his future when he has discussed it with Peter Lawwell. If Pete still thinks he is useful he will stick it out for a while longer. The Level 5 hatchet job on him is a clear indication he isn’t bending over for Sevco.

    The Huddle,

I have all ready reset the OS (which took 8 hours) on the advice from hp.

They said they would take it away and do a factory reset (what ever that is)

As for updating the bios, not sure I am confident in doing that lol.

    ————

Yes it works fine, but if I want to move away from the mains the battery is dead.

    ———

Factory reset is pretty simple, something you can do yourself but it would reset the laptop back to basic settings (ie how you received it).

Warning this will most likely wipe everything on your laptop, nothing saved that you want to keep

Boot computer – immediately click / press F10 to get into the BIOS Manager.

Click on F9 to set the BIOS to factory default.\

    Save and Exit.

  5. TET,

    Got it from ebay.

I am looking for a simple solution to be honest. As far as I can see Its not the battery and its not the charger so I think it must be a software problem and that gets me to there is a solution to this that doesnt involve having no lappy for 2 weeks lol

  6. When the battery is out of the laptop and it’s plugged into the mains what does it say at the bottom right, power icon?

    A hard reset.

Looked at the youtube vid.I dont have the tools to do that, and would be a bit nervous, and would cane my warranty.

    ————-

Factory reset doesn’t involve any tools, only pushing some keys

Damn just looked at your battery removal, not often you have to open the case to get at it – Mine just slips out the back nah bother :O@)

  9. Dixie

If HP have offered to fix it, they must know that they also are obligated to replace it as well, tell them you know your rights and you either want a replacement or a refund, it’s as simple as that mi amigo, trust me on this, I did voluntary work in Ireland for something similar, if it doesn’t do what it says on the tin……

    HH

  10. OS reset is windows reset, a factory reset is resetting HP settings.

Though looking at other videos I really think you need to take out the battery to solve the issue

    https://youtu.be/Lx62t6qZ34U

If you aint bothered about returning the laptop then opening it up isn’t that difficult, I’ve replaced screens and keyboards on my bad boy. Though don’t try if you aren’t game. Looking at the HP Envy the battery is a pain to remove.

  11. The Huddle,

I have been doing 12 hour shifts for the past few days, off for a few days now so will give it my full attention as from tomorrow. If you think of anything I would be grateful.I might chance the bios option when

    a bit more alert.

    Thanks for your input.

  12. The Huddle,TET,

Res12 as admirable as it is, will not succeed. This is beyond regulations, rules and laws. It is a political matter. That kills it dead.

  16. Big peat of islay

    Wrong-Political.absolute nonsense

It is exactly about how rules are applied and how those rules are then fairly justly and transparently for all clubs to see.

I would further augment this by introducing finaancial fair play in scotland with a look at sir div o the cheats reign retrospectively..I would look into convicted criminals dave kings role in both clubs, the dead club and its current debt gorging club,

Huns would like it to be political alas its bout company law, shareholder rights and Celtic protocol.foookall to do with the cheat.more to do with their brithers at sfa

AN TEARMANN on 16TH NOVEMBER 2016 5:52 AM

Dearie me. You haven’t understood me. I’ll be so forward then to quote you a little of that wonderful Stevenson novel, Catriona…

At this he rose from his chair, lit a second candle,

and for a while gazed upon me steadily. I was surprised

to see a great change of gravity fallen upon

his face, and I could have almost thought he was a

    little pale.

” You are either very simple, or extremely the

reverse, and I see that I must deal with you more

confidentially,” says he. ” This is a political case

ah, yes, Mr. Balfour ! whether we like it or no, the

case is political and I tremble when I think what

issues may depend from it. To a political case, I

need scarce tell a young man of your education, we

approach with very different thoughts from one

which is criminal only. Salus populi suprema lex

is a maxim susceptible of great abuse, but it has that

force which we find elsewhere only in the laws of

nature : I mean it has the force of necessity.”

    IMO

The SFA are caught with their pants down and all that remains is to see if their is a will on the other clubs part to ensure the SFA are exposed .

I am not so sure there is though .

Also may I suggest being on the lookout for many posts trying to sidetrack the dicussion of Res 12 as the bhoys seem to have done a great job in shining a light in the dark corners of our game

  24. Celtic FC and other clubs that lost out on Euro participation via this most murky corruption must now request UEFA commission an independent enquiry to protect the integrity of our game.

Celtic Plc and all other incorporated bodies that lost out financially due to this most corrupt murkiness must now seek compensation from the governing body if only to protect their shareholders from loss.

They are sometimes on SS1, SS2 and SS4 so you cannae guarantee it being on SS1 or 2. It depends what other games are on; EPL usually take priority on SS1 and SS2.
