CELTIC have six games to turn around a season that has rocked right from the start and the early Champions League exit against Kazakhstan’s Kairat Almaty.
However, the Hoops now have five Premiership encounters to make up the three-point gap on leaders Hearts, starting tomorrow night with the visit of Falkirk to Parkhead.
The campaign will end with a Scottish Cup Final against Neil Lennon’s Championship outfit Dunfermline at Hampden on Saturday May 23.
It’s an opportunity to end the term on a high and McGregor said: “Definitely. This is the one thing about Celtic, it does always respond. It’s one of these clubs.
“When Moussa Dembele left, it was: ‘How to do you replace Moussa?’. Then Odsonne Edouard came in.

“Then when he left it was: ‘How do you replace Odsonne?’ And Kyogo Furuhashi comes in.
“Then it was: ‘How do you replace Kyogo?’ There’s always another superstar in the making.”
The Hoops, though, have yet to find a replacement for the prolific Japanese frontman who left the club for Rennes in January 2025 in a £10million switch.
McGregor, speaking to the Scottish Sun, continued: “It seems all doom and gloom just now, but we’re maybe only five weeks away from turning that around.
“Then all of a sudden, bang, everyone is back.
“It can very, very quickly change. Momentum is an amazing thing in football, it can take off so quickly.
“By the same token, it can all fall apart really quickly, as well, which we’ve seen over the years.”
The 32-year-old onfield leader added: “I don’t want to speak too soon, but it’s like you’re one result away really from being top of the league and being right in the conversation.
“So, despite the circus this year, all the noise, we’re still only three points off the leaders. That kind of tells you where it’s at.”
