CALMAC, TAYLOR IN SCOTS CALL-UP

1

CALLUM McGREGOR and Greg Taylor are the only Celtic players selected by Steve Clarke for Scotland’s international double-header this month.

It means there has been no call-up for Anthony Ralston, who made his full debut in the 2-0 win over Denmark on November 15, or comeback winger James Forrest.

Skipper McGregor and left-back Taylor have been given the nod to join the pool of players for the friendly against Poland a week on Thursday at Hampden which will see a £10 from each ticket sold being donated to the UNICEF’s humanitarian response in Ukraine, as CQN reported earlier today.

Tickets for the match against Robert Lewandowski and Co went on sale at 1pm today – exclusively to Scotland Supporters’ Club members – before going on general sale at 1pm on Thursday.

BHOY BLUE…Callum McGregor will be involved in Scotland’s international double-header.

Scotland were due to play Ukraine in their World Cup play-off semi-final on that date, but that has been pushed back to June.

Boss Clarke’s players will then travel to play the loser of the World Cup play-off last-four clash between Wales and Austria on Tuesday, March 29.
