CELTIC’S Under-20s ran amok as they obliterated Edinburgh City 21-0 in the Youth Cup at Lennoxtown yesterday.
The young Hoops were ruthless as they decimated their opponents who simply fell apart under the relentless onslaught after holding out for 21 minutes.
Theo Archibald claimed the breakthrough goal and, amazingly, the Celts kids had reached double figures by half-time.
After a whirlwind 90 minutes, Calvin Miller had struck five, Kristoffer Ajer four and Micky Johnston had rattled in a hat-trick.
There were doubles for PJ Crossan and Jack Aitchison while there were singles from Anthony Ralston, Mark Hill, Regan Hendry, and Sam Hendry to add to Archibald’s opener.
Dean Shaersby was the unfortunate Edinburgh City keeper who had to endure Capital Punishment in the third round encounter.
