CAPTAIN MARVEL Callum McGregor insists Celtic must win EVERY game – because it in the club’s DNA.
The inspirational onfield team leader played his part in the champions going joint top of the Premiership alongside Hearts following the 2-1 triumph over Hibs at Easter Road yesterday.
The Edinburgh side go into action against Danny Rohl’s Ibrox outfit at Tynecastle in an encounter in which something has to give.
The Hoops now have a well-earned breather before Sunday’s vitally important home derby confrontation which will be followed by a midweek trip to Fir Park to face Motherwell before the final curtain comes down on the turbulent league campaign three days later against Derek McInnes’ team at Parkhead.

Preparing for the run-in, McGregor said: “It’s just trying to keep everybody calm.
“I said before the game, having thought about it the last couple of days, we’re Celtic. We have to win every game.
“Of course, we are where we are in terms of chasing and trying to win the title.
“But even in previous seasons when you had won it, there’s still an expectation on you to win, anyway.
“That has to be the mindset. We train like that every single day and every day we have to be winners.
“That’s the DNA of the club, so it doesn’t really change because we’re chasing in these last few games.”

McGregor, speaking to the Daily Record, added: “It should be an everyday habit so that when you come to the games, it becomes normal for you.
“We have to win all the games. It’s only significant if we win next week, then Wednesday and then the following Saturday.
“We know where we are. Every game is massive and we have to approach it in the right way.
“We did that against Hibs and it’s a big win, for sure. But we have to stay calm and keep on working.”
