CELTIC have been linked with Benfica’s Colombian international midfielder Guillermo Celis.
Reports indicate the Hoops have been keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old defensive ace and could be set to battle it out with Turkish side Besiktas and Belgian outfit Club Brugge.
Celis has only featured four times for the Portuguese side this season – playing twice in the league and twice as a late substitute in Champions League matches against Besiktas and Kiev.

Parkhead scouts have been regular visitors to the Stadium of Light with Celis believed to be the target.
The Lisbon giants signed the six-times capped midfielder in the summer on a £2million five-year deal from Colombian outfit Club Deportivo Junior SA, but will allow the player to leave in January if a suitable bid comes in.
Boss Brendan Rodgers is prepared to miss out on US international Darlington Nagbe, of Portland Timbers if he cannot be signed for what Celtic believe he is worth, and now Rodgers could look elsewhere.
Celis has also been linked with a return to his homeland to Millonarios.
