EWAN HENDERSON celebrated his new three-and-a-half year deal that will keep him at Celtic until at least the summer of 2022, as CQN reported yesterday, with a call-up to the Scotland Under-19 international squad.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been brought into Billy Stark’s pool of players for the friendlies against Spain and Azerbaijan.
Henderson in involved in a strong squad that that features the likes of Chelsea starlet Billy Gilmour and Hearts prospect Harry Cochrane.
Also called in by Stark are Henderson’s Hoops team-mates Daniel Church, Robbie Deas, Kerr McInroy and Jack Aitchison.
The challenge games take place next month in Pinatar, Spain on February 14 and 17.
