CELT MOVES – FOR SECOND TIME

SCOTT ROBERTSON will be leaving Celtic – for the SECOND time this season.

The 19-year-old midfielder was recalled from his temporary deal with English League One outfit Gillingham earlier this month following the coronavirus quarantine that saw 13 players ruled out for the league games against Hibs and Livingston.

Robertson wasn’t called up for the successive draws and is now on his way back to England to spend the remainder of the campaign with Doncaster Rovers.

The skilful middle-of-the-park operator made 19 appearances for Steve Evans’ Gills’ side, before answering the SOS to return to Glasgow following Christopher Jullien’s positive Covid test upon the squad’s return to Scotland from their ill-fated Dubai trip.

Robertson could make his debut for Darren Moore’s side in their League One encounter at Lincoln City this afternoon.
