CELTIC £2.5m FLOP IN SHOCK MOVE

CELTIC flop striker Teemu Pukki has joined Championship outfit Norwich City on a three-year deal.

The 28-year-old frontman was signed by Neil Lennon from Bundesliga outfit Schalke for £2.5million in August 2013, but failed to make an impact at the champions.

Pukki, who scored on his debut against Hearts at Tynecastle, netted only nine goals in 37 appearances for the Parkhead men.

After an initial loan spell, the Finnish international joined Danish Superliga outfit Brondby two years later for around £1million, but has now quit the club after failing to reach an agreement over a new contract.

Carrow Road boss Daniel Farke is delighted with his capture and said: “I’m very pleased with this signing.

“We got the feeling that Teemu is a good fit to our ideas because he is a technical player with really smart movements.”
