FORMER Celtic £3.5million misfit striker Patryk Klimala has joined his THIRD club inside a year after agreeing a loan deal with A-League side Sydney FC.
The Polish hitman, who joined the Hoops from Jagiellonia Białystok in January 2020, has signed a one-year contract with an option to buy.
Klimala penned a three-and-a-half year deal when he moved to homeland club Slask Wroclaw on January 1 2024 from Israeli outfit Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
OOPS…Patryk Klimala rues missing a chance at Celtic.
However, echoing his disappointing 15-month career at Parkhead, the 26-year-old attacker has failed to spark and is aiming to get his career back on track in Australia.
Klimala scored a mere three goals in 28 Celtic appearances before making the switch to MLS club New York Red Bulls where he claimed 14 strikes in 62 outings.
His terms at Hapoel were terminated by mutual consent in October last year before he was picked up by the Polish side.
Now the misfiring marksman is hoping a change of country might bring a change of luck.
