A GOAL from defender Oison McEntee 13 minutes from time gave Hearts a 1-0 win over Dundee at Tynecastle this afternoon.
The late effort puts Derek McInnes’ side five points ahead of Celtic who face Dundee United at Tannadice tomorrow afternoon.
The tussle in the capital looked destined for a scoreless stalemate with both teams failing to carve out any reasonable chances.

However, the hosts claimed the goal that mattered when McEntee rose to head in with question marks surrounding the positioning of Dens Park keeper Jon McCracken.
It was tense and drama-laden and Hearts finished the encounter with only 10 men when Frankie Kent was dismissed for picking up his second yellow card in stoppage-time.
Matchwinner McEntee’s timing on this occasion was perfect – just as it was at Parkhead in Wilfried Nancy’s debut in December when he bulleted in another header after being left unguarded at a right-wing corner-kick.
The visitors were leading 1-0 at the time through a Claudio Braga strike and McEntee’s effort turned out to be the points-clincher, despite Kieran Tierney’s late consolation effort.
