CELTIC ARRANGE DOUBLE-HEADER

1

CELTIC will play Ross County and Hibs at a closed-doors Parkhead in a double-header as they prepare for the Premiership kick-off.

Neil Lennon’s side face the Dingwall outfit on Sunday with a 1pm kick-off and the Edinburgh team the following day with a 1,30pm start, according to a report on the club website.

Both matches will also be test games for the ‘Pass To Paradise’, the virtual element of the 2020/21 season ticket, and season ticket holders will be able to watch the games.

Scotland’s title kings have been struggling to find opponents for this weekend after their proposed friendly against Dundalk was cancelled due to the Irish government’s coronavirus travel restrictions, as CQN reported.

Northern Irish outfit Derry City were ready to step in, but that was also rejected as the FAI warned they would be unable to fulfil their clash with St Patrick’s Athletic if they travelled to Glasgow.

The champions will begin their historic campaign for a tenth successive crown with a home Premiership match against Hamilton Accies on Flag Day a week on Sunday.
