CELTIC are lining up a daring raid for FIVE of Scotland’s brightest young stars.

The champions’ talent scouts have drawn up a wanted list as they prepare to add to their academy and development ranks.

The Parkhead side are plotting moves for Hearts’ James Wilson, Lewis Pirie (Aberdeen), Jonjo Webb (Motherwell), Hayden Borland (Partick Thistle) and Joshua McDonald (Hamilton Accies), according to a report in the Daily Record.

The club have been in touch with the teams to make them aware of their intentions and they hope to open talks soon with teenage striker Wilson, who is the current Tynecastle Academy Player of the Year.

Manchester United and Spurs are also monitoring the impressive hit kid, but the Gorgie side have already stated their intention to fight to keep Wilson.

The Dons’ Pirie, who also plays up front, is being tracked by Everton, Wolves and Brighton and has already trained with Jim Goodwin’s Pittodrie first team this season.

Thistle’s Borland has recently been on trial at Liverpool and is also attracting interest from Spurs.

The new registration rules means that clubs can now send letters to other teams and if their player wishes to hold talks then they will be allowed to do that this month.

The players can sign professional contracts with clubs when they are 16 and and that is the only time their previous clubs would be entitled to compensation.
