JOHNNY KENNY made a quickfire debut for Queen’s Park following his season-long loan move from Celtic 24 hours earlier.
The 19-year-old Irish striker, who signed for the Hoops in a £125,000 five-year deal from Sligo Rovers in January, came on as a late substitute as Owen Coyle’s Hampden side won 2-1 at Arbroath in their Championship tussle on Saturday.
Kenny was one of 10 players flagged up by CQN early last month we stated could be on their way out at the champions.
HOOP HOOP HOORAY…Johnny Kenny after signing for Celtic in January.
Five have now made their moves as Ange Postecoglou continues to revamp his playing squad for the rigours on the domestic and European fronts.
Osaze Urhoghide agreed a second temporary switch with KV Oostende. The 22-year-old defender arrived at Parkhead from Sheffield Wednesday last summer and spent the second half of the season with the Belgian Pro League side.
Bungling Boli Bolingoli and rookie keeper Ross Doohan have left on permanent deals to Mechelen and Tranmere Rovers respectively while Ivorian midfielder Ismaila Soro has agreed a season-long temporary move to Portuguese top-flight outfit FC Arouca.
One of the five who may still be heading for the exit is 23-year-old winger Mikey Johnston who needs game-time elsewhere.
SIT-DOWN STRIKER…Albian Ajeti has scored nine goals in over two years since his £5million arrival.
Also on our list are £5million Swiss flop striker Albian Ajeti, who has scored only nine goals in two years since arriving from West Ham, and Christopher Jullien who has already seen a loan switch to Bundesliga club Schalke fall through.
Liam Shaw, who arrived at Celtic at the same time as his Hillsborough team-mate Urhoghide just over a year ago, was at Motherwell for the second half of last term and the midfielder is likely to be farmed out again.
Youngster Scott Robertson, the middle of the park anchorman, has already had THREE stints on loan to Gillingham, Doncaster Rovers and Crewe and a fourth could be on its way.
Now Kenny has made it five down and five to go.
