It will not have escaped your attention, that in the last week in October, the Celtic machine is purring away magnificently, but Aberdeen sit aside them at the top of the league table. The form of Aberdeen is the great untold story of this season; so far. That untold element will change tonight if they extend their unbeaten run, against Celtic.
There are clues as to the pattern of play we can expect. The Dons have conceded just one goal in their last five league games, they will give us lots of the ball, but deny us space in and around their box. They do this well.
Celtic will need two weapons to combat this: Patrick Roberts’ cunning in tight spaces, and Tom Rogic’s ability to ping shots in from the edge of the area. I would like to see us pass the ball more than we did for long spells on Saturday, but our usual arc of possession around the opposition box is unlikely to create space. We’ll need to take shooting opportunities and hope Patrick’s on form.
Incidentally, have you seen the Celtic players pay tribute to the greatest fans in the world yet?
The players send their appreciation to all the #CelticFC fans for being #TheBest! pic.twitter.com/rgH4Kao7mv

Huns and football are rarely in the same sentence for me.
Eve their tainted 9 in a row years was filled with hump and boot.
Souness contributed greatly to the demise of Scottish football.
I always called his system the midfield hunt as people like Hurlock and himself blistered opponents and won the ball with refs approval to quickly pass to full backs who launched high balls and they all charged in after.
It was not silky and unsurprisingly his lack of managerial talent was found out in Turkey and Liverpool.
The pass and move style of teams like Dundee utd and Aberdeen was abandoned for big strapping guys and long ball strategy.
You have merit on refs allowing this physical strategy and while some teams are now trying to change this failed strategy the brutalism is still allowed by cheats with whistles.
The collective ineptitude of Scottish refs has to be the result of an acceptable strategy.

Hi Bhoys
looking for a little advice mini me travelling to US for honeymoon and since having her cancer removed is finding difficulty getting travel insurance under £500 any advice Thanks
Open an account with Nationwide and you get free travel insurance (among other goodies). My daughter just did that. Closed RBS account and moved to Nationwide. She is a happy camper :))

Wee BGFC,
If you get your tickets, and your Dad is driving up, there are new average speed cameras between Dundee and Aberdeen, and also a lot of roadworks from Stonehaven to Aberdeen. All the cameras are now active, so tell the old bhoy to hit cruise control and take it easy, or he could lose his licence in the space of 60 miles :-(
Easiest parking will be on the beachfront then walk across the golf course to the old Beach End
( your Da’ will know what I’m talking about)
Hello this is WEE BGFC. Batteen bhoy yer some man thanks so much for the advice. :) I’ll tell him *thumbs up thingy*

Guten Nachmittag, Bateen Bhoy :-)
Yes – very much noted re: speed traps.
Especially since I visited Airdrie Court this very afternoon to pay £100 fine and get 3 points for a slight indiscretion coming home from dropping Miss BGFC as St Andrew’s a few weeks ago.

Hello this is WEE BGFC. HI Da!!!
We’re on the road again…really looking forward to this, our toughest domestic game of the season.
The first eleven minutes of the game up there in May was astonishing. The best supporters in the world were going absolutely crazy as we raced into a 3-0 lead.
Would be nice to do that again tonight.

“Rangers toy bear called TIMMY launched by Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct” – headline in the Herald.
Brings me back to one of my favourite episodes of The Rangers saga – Duckgate (Rangers on-line web site displaying a Celtic branded bathtime duck
It was particularly funny for me as a great friend, who has very poor taste in his football team, is a past President of the Institute of Trade Mark Agents so I had great fun asking him to defend the misrepresentation of a Champions League Duck (as we were that season) as that of a Division 2 duck (as they were at the time).
My friend, who now lives in Crieff, is trying to get me tickets for St. Johnstone away for a week on Saturday for me and my son to go along with his son. To his great chagrin, his son has excellent taste in football teams
The Huns really are a mix of the Boy who cried wolf and the Bully who got his comeuppance.
Their sense of self entitlement and superiority complex is legendary.
Everything they squeal about today, their late uncle was guilty of, and then some.
Let’s take fan behaviour; I’ve asked before if there is seriously any club in Europe with a worse record of fan trouble. Red Star? Lazio ? Turkish teams? We’re not talking about dodgy banners here, it’s full blown violence.
Secondly, it’s impossible to gauge but I doubt there has ever been a more privileged establishment club than the now defunct club.
I’d be here all night going through both points on a case by case basis.
The overriding message I’m getting from Sevco club and fans’ cries for help is this; I believe there are as many Huns who have been instilled with an expectance to receive favourable decisions, over decades, especially from a large number of refs who attended the same brotherhood meetings, than there are who are simply too dumb ignorant to see the truth and facts, only denying, deflecting and deluding. I also believe there’s a minority of them who know full well the real story but we wont hear from them.
The thing is, we’ve still not even reached the level playing field yet and probably never will in Scotland.
The whole country is right now reaping what was allowed to pass since Struth arrived.
The following is a work of fiction (as always) :-)

Hello this is WEE BGFC. With Das fitba drivin skills we might be awrite for another 10 mins at most but its no lookin good.
Could go with Forrest and Roberts?
Good evening, friends.
Arguably, last weekend’s game against Hibs was more important than tonight as there are no 2nd chances in the cups. But equally the stage is now set for an absolute cracker.
> 2nd v 1st
> Both unbeaten
> On the same points
> First meeting of the season
> We’ve scored more (21 v 16) but defensively both pretty decent (we’ve conceded 5 whilst they’ve let in 6)
Would a draw be a bad result? Absolutely not so a good old 3-3 would be entertaining!
Jobo
ps – we will win!
