CELTIC CUP DATE LIVE TV



CELTIC’S first defence of their Premier Sports League Cup against Ross County in Dingwall will be shown live on satellite TV.

The second round encounter will be played on Wednesday night, August 31, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Ange Postecoglou’s side’s meeting with ex-Celt Malky Mackay’s Highlanders has been chosen by the broadcasters for a live transmission.

The Hoops were drawn for the tricky away trip following Aberdeen’s 3-0 win over Raith Rovers at Pittodrie yesterday.

Premier Sports will also show the Cup-tie between Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s outfit and Queen of the South at Ibrox 24 hours earlier.

The first Glasgow derby is due three days after the holders’ match in Dingwall at Parkhead with a 12.30pm kick-off.
