CELTIC’S Scottish Cup fifth round tie against St Mirren at Parkhead will be shown live on the Viaplay channel on Saturday February 11 with a 5.30pm kick-off.

It’s the second time the Hoops will have started a match on an evening at the weekend after commencing at 5.30pm in their 2-0 Viaplay League Cup semi-final win over Kilmarnock at Hampden earlier this month.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are one of four ties selected for live TV at this stage of the national competition. The matches will take place across four days from Friday to Monday.

Celtic’s encounter with the Paisley club will follow the Friday game between Hamilton Accies and Hearts at New Douglas Park which will kick off at 7.45pm. It will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland.

Satellite subscription channel Viaplay will then show the Hoops v Saints on Saturday evening before beaming live the action from ibrox between Michael Beale’s side and Partick Thistle on Sunday at 4pm.

Scottish Cup shock side Darvel, fresh from their remarkable 1-0 victory over Aberdeen, will also be shown live on BBC Scotland when they have another home tie against League One outfit Falkirk at Recreation Park on Monday, February 13 at 7.45pm.
