CELTIC’S Scottish Cup-tie against Albion Rovers, which was due to be played at Cliftonhill, has been switched to Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium.

The move will increase the number of fans at the ground from 1,500 to nearer 10,000.

The game, reported to be worth over £100,000 after Sky Sports chose to televise the action, will kick off at 3pm on Sunday, January 22.

The Hoops played East Kilbride on the same ground in the competition last season and won 2-0.
