BRENDAN RODGERS has been rocked with the news that Anthony Ralston could be struggling when the Premiership restarts after the international break.
The Hoops right-back is poised to pull out of Scotland’s World Cup qualifier in Denmark tomorrow night with the recurrence of an ankle knock he suffered in the Champions League exit in Kazakhstan last week, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.
Ralston played through the pain barrier in the disappointing scoreless stalemate at Ibrox on Sunday and could now be ordered to rest with the champions due to play Kilmarnock at Rugby Park a week on Sunday.

PAIN GAME…Anthony Ralston on the ball in the scoreless stalemate at Ibrox.
It will be a double blow for Rodgers who has first-pick Alistair Johnston crocked with the Canadian likely to be out for another 10 weeks with the hamstring problem which saw him stretchered off in the first-half of the 0-0 draw with Kairat Almaty in the first leg.
Colby Donovan could now be tasked with taking over the No.2 slot with the Hoops also facing a Premier Sports League Cup quarter-final against Partick Thistle at Firhill, an away Europa League encounter against Red Star Belgrade and a home league match against Hibs this month.
The 18-year-old defender, who was a loan target for Dundee and Ayr United before deadline day, featured in Rodgers’ pre-season squad and made substitute appearances in the 3-0 win over Livingston and in Kazakhstan.
