CELTIC have confirmed they will play their League Cup quarter-final against Raith Rovers at Parkhead on Thursday September 23.

And the game against the Fifers, who knocked out Scott Brown and Aberdeen in the shock of the previous round, will be shown live by Premier Sports who are sponsoring the competition.

The satellite channel will also beam the Europa League second leg qualifying play-off final against AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands a week tomorrow with the game kicking off at 7.15pm.

Ange Postecoglou’s team will start their last eight tie against the Stark’s Park club at 7.45pm as the Greek-Australian gaffer attempts to guide the side to his first piece of silverware since his announcement in June as Neil Lennon’s successor.

The Hoops booked their place with a 3-2 victory over Hearts in the east end of Glasgow on Sunday with Odsonne Edouard, Stephen Welsh and Kyogo Furuhashi claming the goals in a one-sided confrontation that saw the home outfit have 11 attempts on target.

All four League Cup-ties will be shown by the satellite channel. Livingston’s visit to Ibrox will be in front of the cameras 24 hours earlier than the Parkhead game and will have a 7.45pm commencement. At the same time on a second Premier Sports channel, Dundee will face holders St Johnstone which will start at the same time.

Dundee United will play Hibs at Tannadice at the same time as the Hoops take on the Dons’ conquerors.
