CELTIC’S Champions League second round qualifiers against FC Midtjylland will be shown LIVE on Premier Sports.

Ange Postecoglou’s first competitive game against the Danes at Parkhead on Tuesday night will be beamed as it happens on the subscription satellite channel.

The Hoops will have the backing of 9,000 fans after Glasgow Council gave the go-ahead for extra supporters to be allowed into the ground following an appeal from new chief executive Dominic McKay. Originally, the Hoops wanted 18,000 in the 60,000 capacity stadium, but will have to accept half of the amount for which they had hoped.

Premier Sports are also showing live two of the club’s remaining friendlies, starting with Scott Sinclair’s Preston in the east end of Glasgow tomorrow night with a 5.30pm kick-off. Next up will be Davie Moyes’ West Ham next Saturday which has a 3pm start.

Then will come the vital second leg encounter in Denmark on Wednesday, July 28 with a 6.45pm commencement.

The channel’s official Twitter account said: “We are delighted to announce live coverage of four upcoming Celtic games, including their Champions League qualifiers against Midtjylland!”
