CELTIC EYE BRAZILIAN STRIKER

ITALIAN side Pescara will demand at least £5million for Brazilian striker Jonathas if Celtic follow up their reported initial interest. Good luck with getting that out of Celtic!
The 26-year-old frontman is currently on loan with Spanish outfit Elche and has scored 12 goals in La Liga this season.
Jonathas has impressed watching Hoops scouts in the second half of the campaign, but he still has 14 months of his contract to run and the Serie B team won’t allow him to move on the cheap.
He has already clocked up £3.5million in transfer fees since kicking off his career in his homeland with Cruzeiro before switches to AZ Alkmaar in Holland and Brescia, Torino and Pescara in Italy before agreeing his temporary move to Elche in Spain.
The Hoops could wait until the turn of the year to get the powerful hitman on a pre-contract, but Ronny Deila is looking at beefing up his attack in the summer for another tilt at qualifying for the Champions League.
It odds-on John Guidetti, who has been erratic throughout his season-long loan from Manchester City, will quit the Hoops. Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon now look favourites with former club Feyenoord all but conceding defeat in their efforts to land the Swedish free agent.

Finnish flop Teemu Pukki, on loan at Brondby, has admitted he wants to return to Spanish football where he had a brief spell spell with Sevilla in 2009.

And Portuguese misfit Amido Balde is on his way back to Glasgow after two unsuccessful stints in Belgium with Waasland-Beveren and in Israel with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

He has scored only one goal all season and isn’t likely to have a future at Parkhead.

Anthony Stokes, who has dropped out of the first team picture in recent weeks, has also been linked with a move to Bolton in the summer to link up again with Neil Lennon.
