CELTIC are considering a move for Sunderland winger Charis Mavrias.
The Wearside outfit are keen to allow the Greek international to leave on a loan deal.
Mavrias, 20, was watched by the Hoops in his side’s Under-21 clash with Manchester City on Monday.
His former club Panathinaikos and PAOK are also eager to take the £2million attacker back to Greece.
But neither have the finances to fund a loan switch, while Mavrias – who has another 18 months to run on his Sunderland contract – is understood to regard a return to Greece as a backward step at this stage of his career.
