Celtic face challenge of fortified Dens

213

Hope you all enjoyed a great Christmas yesterday and are looking forward to what is sure to be an atmospheric Celtic fix tonight.

Dundee are six points from safety at the bottom of the table and drifting ominously after their mini-revival ended a few weeks ago, so is this a forgone conclusion for Celtic?  Not at all.  This is the perfect game for Dundee; a packed Dens with the opportunity to dispense with the normal responsibility to take the game to their opponents.  Instead they can fortify themselves to take on the champions.

Celtic will have the opportunity to give James Forrest more playing time after his successful return from injury against Ross County on Saturday as they complete a run of three games against the bottom clubs in the SPL.

  1. Nuclear Bovril and a Half Munched Pie on

Master of Supermarionation, Gerry Anderson dies aged 83

A candlelit Virgil will be held later.

Thirty bob for a ticket to what should amount to a turkey shoot

Just what the hordes of supremacists love …

That’s what you get when you drink Thunderbird rather than watch Thunderbirds

And they suggest that our fans will get bored beating teams in the SPL

Whereas their pitiful efforts in the bottom tier are lauded

  5. That was funny. SSN score announcer stated that Arsenal v West Ham game postponed due to “overwhelming transport challenges” !

    Thanks for your help.

One question, are the fans standard,or do I have to buy the maker of the boxes cooler.

  7. Dundee 0-1 Celtic 13/9/03.

Bobo Balde headed the only goal of the game but the match was best remembered for the ordering off of Didier Agathe.

Celtic were already in front when Nacho Novo fell to the ground in the 20th minute after minimal contact with Agathe around 40 yards from goal with Martin O’Neill furious at the decision.

  8. Think tonight will be comfortable although vaguely remember as a young bhoy going to Dens full of hope and getting pumped 5-1.

Would have been circa 1980 and big Shirley scored for us first. If I remember right we blew a big lead in the league and handed the first title of his managerial career to Swalex.

Don’t know if the sands if time are dimming my memory or if I’ve erased them coz they were really painful to an 11 year old.

Anyway, that won’t happen tonight, comfortable 3-nil

    Hail Hail

No surprises about the involvement of the odious Novo in Didiers unjust red card.

    Don’t like that boy!

  10. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

SSB actually believe that sally will get £10m ……lots of LOL

One thing I don’t understand is how they can assume that anybody is going to buy greengo’s sevco’s shares (or ANY of their shares) …… ssuming, of course, they survive BDO seizing the assets for the creditors ….silly bhuns…

  11. Shameless hundits asking where the huns should spend the mythical £10 milllion, where’s this BDO mob?

  12. Remember that game well, it hurt like hell as a rookie 12 year old’s first visit to Dens park. The only time I have been back since was to work on the phone masts around the ground. The sight of that old stand still haunts me. Was Tommy Gemmell Their manager at that time?

First time to a Celtic Match with the ole Greenock Shammie, but made up for it a few weeks later at Hampden when we beat that Old rangers team 1-0.

    HH

  13. Sally is devastated. He just found out that, strangely, the £10m transfer money will be subject to tax,
