CELTIC FACE NEYMAR, BAYERN MUNICH AND BELGIAN CHAMPIONS

1

CELTIC have been drawn against Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Anderlecht in the Champions League.

Brendan Rodgers’ men came out of this evening’s ballot in Monaco in Group B and face some fabulous confrontations in the months ahead.

Neymar, the world’s most expensive player at £200million, will be at Parkhead yet again and that will delight new £4.5million midfielder Olivier Ntcham who expressed a desire to play against his hometown team.

The Brazilian superstar provoked the ire of the Hoops fans in November with some theartrical dives as Barcelona beat the Scottish champions 2-0 with goals from Lionel Messi.

No doubt Mikael Lustig will look forward to coming against his old foe once more.

The full draw is:

GROUP A: Benfica, Manchester United, Basel, CSKA Moscow.

GROUP B: Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Anderlecht, CELTIC.

GROUP C: Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Qarabag.

GROUP D: Juventus, Barcelona, Olympiakos, Sporting Lisbon.

GROUP E: Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Liverpool, NK Maribor.

GROUP F: Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City, Napoli, Feyenoord.

GROUP G: AS Monaco, Porto, Besiktas, Leipzig.

GROUP H: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Spurs, Apoel.

The first leg ties are due on September 12/13 with the return games on September 26/27.

The Champions League Final will be in Kiev on May 26, 2018.
