‘CELTIC FANS HOLD KEY,’ VAN DIJK

VIRGIL VAN DIJK reckons Celtic will be happy to settle for a goalless draw against Ajax tomorrow night.
The classy Dutchman, who quit the Hoops in a £13million deal for Southampton on the last day of the transfer deadline, said: “This is an interesting game and both teams don’t seem in great form.
“Ajax will have to make the game, Celtic will lie in wait for an opportunity. They know exactly where Ajax is vulnerable. Nevertheless, they will be happy in Scotland with a dot in Amsterdam.”

That means the Hoops will be pleased with a clean sheet and a draw in the Amsterdam ArenA.
The 24-year-old central defender, who spent only two years at the SPFL champions, added: “In Glasgow, the fanatical supporters still bring something extra.
“I think Celtic has more than in 2013, when we encountered Ajax in the Champions League. They have become stronger in width, the competition is bigger.”
