DEDRYCK BOYATA reckons the Celtic fans are in for a treat during Charly Musonda’s loan stay at the club.
The defender, who scored the Hoops’ second goal in the 3-1 win over Hearts, reckons his fellow-Belgian will thrive at Parkhead.
He said: “I’ve known him since he was 14-15, he’s a very talented player and it’s good for him to be here and play some games.
“He showed in the few minutes he played that he’s quite skilful and very quick.
“His football knowledge is very high – I can say that because I know him personally and I know how he thinks, how clever he can be.
“He can score goals as well so he has a lot of abilities.
“We have a manager who can help all the young players. You can see what he has done for Moussa, for Patrick, for Odsonne and for Olivier.
“They are much younger than me, but you can see how they improve through working with the manager every day.
“I think with Charly coming here, he is going to get as much game-time as possible and he will get better for it.”
Boyata was also thrilled to get on the scoresheet during a one-sided encounter against the teetering Tynecastle outfit who were put to the sword in a pulverising 45 minutes.
He added: “Everybody’s delighted, we all played very well. I don’t score many with my feet, but it’s always good to score.
“It’s well-known when other teams come here, we have intensity with the fans behind us and it’s never easy for the opposing teams. But we started very well.”
