Celtic fans to blame, apparently

902

I see Celtic fans are being blamed for rumours of Newco’s administration by their former manager, Ally McCoist. He could argue that. Alternatively, you could suggest that a business unable to secure bank borrowing, dependent on funding from directors, who will soon be forced to find £11m to make a share offer, has created more than enough financial uncertainty without Celtic fans’ assistance.

McCoist suggested “even the biggest Celtic fans in the country” do not want to see Newco go into administration. Not so sure you are right there, Ally. Personally, I would find it a funny, but it is not going to change anything. It would not lead to relegation and will not change the title race in any way.

The most significant outcome of administration could be forcing control from Dave King. Which would be a source of enormous regret.

You hang in there, Dave.

The CQN Podcast: A Celtic State of Mind (EP28) with former Celtic director Tom Grant

Paul John Dykes and Kevin Graham are joined by Celtic’s ex-director, Tom Grant, who offers a fascinating insight into the running of the club in the 1980s and 1990s.

Tom Grant explains exactly why Celtic refused to complete the Mo Johnston transfer in 1989, and lifts the lid on audacious efforts by Billy McNeill to recruit Peter Beardsley and Steve Bruce.

Tom Grant also dissects his relationship with Fergus McCann, and the impact of the ‘Celts For Change’ movement in overturning the ‘family dynasty’ board in 1994.

Hope you had the winner of the 1-15 at Warwick !

FFS Mate…..DON’T post about the sport of kings on here, certain guys get rather upset.

I wonder if say Brendan Rodgers bought a race horse and it was running in the Grand National or Derby etc….and it was 50/1…and Brendan and the Trainer and the feckin Jockey were telling the WHOLE World how this horse was going to win blah blah………………….but because of one poster we can’t mention on here ?

So we could miss out on our manager giving us Celts a bit of “INSIDE INFORMATION”…..just cos it upsets one guy ?

There was a post today that stated that WITS has been posting horse racing Tips on here for some time….has anyone objected about WITS posts of a horsey nature….or is it just feckin MINE ?

No offence to you WITS mate..hope you know that ?

  3. Big Jimmy.

Well done. I’m delighted for you.

Maybe you’ll find yourself a woman tonight too or maybe a woman will find you.

I bet some of Mr Henderson’s horses, so I’m roughly sixty quid up on the day and happy at that.

Incidentally,Mr Henderson said yesterday in an interview, that despite being married today, that he intended to watch all of his horses run on TV.

He was worried that the timing of the ceremony would clash with one race but hoped the Minister would hurry the service along so that he could watch the race. An old romantic is Nicky (not )

Since I’d tipped you off about the champion jockey being back,I intended to hammer him all day. But I got stuck in good company instead and only got round in time to back Jenkins and the runner up in the flat race.

    Got a bottle of 45% bourbon,Bullett,and an unusual Scotch,Copper Dog,for a score.

Had worse days. And so have you!!!!

Now,here’s my advice to someone who never listens to advice, unless it’s from a good guy.

Put yer winnings in your back pocket and sit on them.

Is the new Mrs Henderson now “SADDLED” with him forever ?

I wonder if Mrs Henderson will “REIN ” him in from now on ?

Will the new Mrs Henderson “NAG” poor Nicky to death…like most wives do ?

Will Nicky ( at his age and weight) be able to ” GO THE DISTANCE” on his Wedding Night ?
