CELTIC will kick off the 2019/20 Premiership season with a game against St Johnstone at Parkhead on Saturday, August 3.

Neil Lennon’s side, who enjoyed an unprecedented treble treble campaign last time out, will look for an opening Flag Day triumph to launch their nine-in-a-row ambitions.

The Perth side’s last visit to the east end of Glasgow ended in a 5-0 drubbing as Scott Sinclair claimed a hat-trick while Scott Brown and James Forrest added the others in a one-sided Scottish Cup encounter on February 10.

The Hoops’ second league game is against Motherwell at Fir Park on August 10, while the first month also features Hearts at home on the 24th with a visit to Ibrox due for the final day of the month.
