CELTIC’S scheduled Premiership game against Dundee at Parkhead this afternoon is OFF.

The match has fallen foul of the severe storms that battered the country yesterday and damaged the stadium.

A Celtic statement read:

“Today’s scheduled Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Dundee at Celtic Park has been called off.

“Unfortunately, due to the stadium damage sustained yesterday we have been advised that we are unable to proceed with today’s match.

“While clearly this is disappointing, the safety of our supporters will always be our priority.

“The rearranged fixture will take place on February 5, 2025 with a 7.45pm kick-off.”

The champions are due to face Motherwell in a league encounter at Fir Park three days earlier before taking on Tony Docherty’s Tayside team for the third time this season.

The Hoops then switch their attention to the Scottish Cup with a quarter-final tie against Championship side Raith Rovers in the east end of Glasgow on the Saturday evening of February 8 with a 5.30pm kick-off.

Then the focus goes back to the Champions League with Brendan Rodgers’ men due for a first leg play-off game due on February 11/12 with the return a week later.
