CELTIC will play Dundee at Dens Park on Tuesday January 14 next year in their rearranged Premiership match.

The match was originally scheduled for Saturday December 14, but had to be moved with the Hoops’ involvement in the Premiers Sports League Cup Final at Hampden 24 hours later.

The match on Tayside will have an 8pm kick-off and will now be covered live by Sky Sports. It has also been confirmed the league game against Ross County in Dingwall on Saturday January 11 will also be beamed live by the satellite giants with a 12.30pm start.

Celtic booked their place in the showpiece encounter next month following their runaway 6-0 triumph over stunned Aberdeen at the national stadium on Saturday.

THREE ‘N’ EASY…Daizen Maeda prepares to complete his hat-trick in Celtic’s 6-0 Premier Sports League Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen. Adam Idah gets a close-up view with Dons duo Nicky Devlin and keeper Dimitar Mitov helpless.

A hat-trick from Daizen Maeda plus singles from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyogo Furuhashi and Nicolas Kuhn got the job done as the Parkhead men chase the trophy that eluded them last season when they celebrated Brendan Rodgers’ return with a league and Cup double.

They are due to play Philippe Clement’s Ibrox side at the national stadium after the Govan club’s 2-1 success over Motherwell in their last-four encounter.

The game in January will be the second time the Hoops have faced the Dens Parkers this term following their 2-0 victory in Glasgow last month when Alistair Johnston and Arne Engels (pen) claimed the strikes.
