RB LEIPZIG Head Coach Ralf Rangnick has warned Celtic they will be facing one of Europe’s best teams in RB Salzburg.
The boss of the Bundesliga outfit watched his side suffer a 3-2 defeat at home during their opening Europa League tie last month.
Brendan Rodgers ’ men take on the Austrians tomorrow night – and Rangnick insists the Parkhead side could be in for a torrid time.
RB Salzburg racked up wins over Real Sociedad, Lazio and Borussia Dortmund in their march to the Europa League semi-finals last season when they lost to French giants Marseille.
Rangnick said: “For me, Salzburg is one of the best teams in Europe at the moment and anyone playing them face a difficult task.
“They beat some really good other teams on the way to the Euro League semi-finals.”
The Hoops drew 2-2 when they played in Salzburg during Ronny Deila’s reign in the Europa League in 2014, but crashed 3-1 in Glasgow.
