CELTIC IN 4-TEAM TUG-OF-WAR FOR TEEN ACE

CELTIC have been monitoring the progress of Republic of Ireland Under-19 winger Sean Moore at Cliftonville this season.

Ange Postecoglou’s scouting team have returned glowing reports on the 17-year-old touchline ace who has made an impressive start to his career at the Irish Premiership side.

The lively Moore has started the last eight games and scored four goals as the team have moved to the top of the league.

The form of the exciting teen has also attracted the attention of Newcastle, West Ham and Brighton.

Eddie Howe’s Tyneside outfit are gearing up for a summer bid, according to a local sports outlet.

The Hoops raided the Irish market in January last year for Sligo Rovers’ 19-year-old striker Johnny Kenny who spent the first half of this season on loan at Championship pacesetters Queen’s Park before switching to Shamrock Rovers for the second part of the term.

Kenny, who signed a five-year contract, will return to the Hoops in the summer.

The champions will keep a close watch on Moore for the remainder of the campaign.
