CELTIC have been linked with Kieron Bowie just five months after the striker’s £5million move to Hellas Verona.
The 23-year-old frontman netted four goals in 13 Serie A appearances, but couldn’t save the club from relegation.
Bowie signed a four and a half year deal with the Italian club, but he could be on the verge of a quickfire exit after their drop down a division.
Bologna have been monitoring the Scotland international who has just missed out in a place in Steve Clarke’s squad for the summer World Cup Finals.
However, the Hoops have also been credited with an interest in Bowie who kicked off his career at Raith Rovers before moving to Fulham. The Easter Road side signed him from the Londoners in 2024.

Underlining the fact Bologna would face competition for the forward, Italian sports media outlet L’Arena reported: “The first threat is Celtic.
“The newly crowned Scottish champions are eyeing Kieron Bowie, whose recent goals against Juventus and Inter have sparked a wave of interest. Everything is still in its infancy. It’s too early for anyone to make any official moves.
“Celtic, however, stuffed with short, lean forwards, desperately need a centre-forward. And Bowie fits the bill perfectly as a physical striker, but also capable of getting into space and playing for his team-mates.
“Celtic are keeping an eye on things, even if only remotely for now.”
Bowie quit the Edinburgh men late in January this year and the exact fee was not disclosed, but Hibs did admit it was a record deal for the club and it “substantially exceeds” the £4.4million Gordon Strachan paid to take Scott Brown to Parkhead in 2007.
The energetic raider scored 15 goals in 52 appearances for the Easter Road outfit before moving to Italy.
