CELTIC remain locked in talks with Frosinone as they step up efforts to sign £6.5million-rated winger Farès Ghedjemis.
The 23-year-old French wide player has emerged as a priority signing for Martin O’Neill as Monday’s 11pm transfer deadline looms.
Ghedjemis has scored eight goals and added two assists in Italy’s Serie B this season for his club side who are determined to get top dollar for their hottest property.
The Hoops are haggling over the asking price and are trying to negotiate a lower fee, according to Sky Sports.

The champions spent £9.7million in bringing flankers Sebastian Tounekti and Michel-Ange Balikwisha to Parkhead in the summer with varying degrees of success.
Evergreen James Forrest is out of contract in the summer and the Hoops are determined to strengthen their options on the wings.
They have also been linked with Dunajská Streda forward Damir Redzic who is also on the wanted list of RB Salzburg.
In the meantime, interim manager O’Neill is preparing his squad for tomorrow’s visit of Falkirk in another must-win encounter for the hosts.
