“The truth is that Rangers struggle with very deep financial problems. They owe 50 million euro in taxes, although there are a few different scenarios as to how this could be resolved.
“If they could get some money from my transfer they could pay-off part of the debts they accumulated through the years. There is also talk of bankruptcy.
“If I move it will be decision of the owners of the club.
“One potential outcome might be a 25 point penalty and one year suspension from Europe, which could be a better outcome than paying 50 million euro in tax.
“The team is focused on training and playing. We would like to stay together and fight for the title.”
I have to agree, a 25 point penalty, with single season consequences, sounds like a very attractive outcome for Rangers, who are away to St Johnstone at lunchtime on Saturday.

You know, I used to pray for something monumental to happen all at once; to wake up one day and find out MIH had crashed over-night, that Rangers had been cut adrift of their paymaster and were floundering. Now, to be blunt, I would love to see it play out, like this, over months or even years.

Plus SX (Stock exchange) ruling is very clear – if you don’t have audited accounts in a timeframe agreed by them, you’re in breach of the rules. How can investors confidently buy shares in an unaudited company?

It’s a roller coaster ride that’s for sure. I’m enjoying it a the moment but if I had to choose again I would hope that a meteor would hit ibrox to end it all on day one than live through all this again.
Well the general consensus on the brain’s trust that is FF is that this doesn’t matter as we can still sign players in January.

as regards the HMRC case with the people from south west glasgow, I sincerely hope that they get hung, drawn, and quartered, thrown out, ostracised? sent to coventry, everything else that can be done to them, and they leave us in peace to get on with out own lives and our own football team. No more OLD FIRM, just us, but can I tell you something, if they were ever banished to the cauldrons of 3rd division or the 4th or the 5th, if there was one, their entourage would jump on the bandwagon of dare I say it!!!
