CELTIC IN CRUNCH BELFAST TALKS

0

CELTIC will hold crunch talks today with Linfield and Police Service Northern Ireland to discuss the options for their possible Champions League clash.

If the Northern Irish outfit overcome San Marino minnows La Fiorita they are due to host the Hoops on July 11 or 12.

Security chief Ronnie Hawthorn will represent the Parkhead club at the crucial meeting.

July 12 is a no-go with the police force stretched to cope with the marching season.

It would appear Linfield are in favour of pushing the tie back to July 13 which is a Europa League evening.

Celtic expect to be able to make an announcement later today or tomorrow.
