CELTIC’S Premiership fixture against Dundee United at Tannadice has been moved back 24 hours to January 29 2023.

The game will be switched from the Saturday to the Sunday with the match now been shown live on Sky Sports with a 4pm kick-off.

The Hoops memorably routed the Tayside outfit 9-0 at the same venue in August with Kyogo Furuhashi netting a hat-trick in the first-half and Liel Abada doing likewise after the break. Filipe Jota, Josip Juranovic and Carl Starfelt collected the others.

As a consequence, United gaffer Jack Ross was sacked 24 hours later.

TANNADICE TERRORS…Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi both hit hat-tricks in Celtic’s landslide 9-0 win over Dundee United in August.

It was a different story at Parkhead last month when it looked as though the champions had carelessly thrown away two points with the visitors levelling two minutes from time with a freak goal from Dylan Levitt.

Sead Haksabanovic had scored his first goals for the club, but Steven Fletcher had also registered for the Tayside outfit with a controversial penalty-kick.

Thankfully, Kyogo, the scourge of United, head-flicked in a third goal in the 90th minute and Abada chipped in a fourth in stoppage time.

Now the champions are looking to maintain the 100 per record in the rescheduled fixture next month.
