CELTIC’S Ibrox fixture in January next year has been switched after Sky Sports announced the new date to suit TV coverage.
Martin O’Neill’s men were due to play Derek McInnes’ outfit in Govan on the Saturday with a 3pm kick-off.
However, that has now been changed to Sunday January 3 2027 with a High Noon start.
Coincidentally, the first meeting of the clubs this year was on the same date and had huge repercussions for the champions. Wilfried Nancy went into the match on a dismal run of five losses in his seven outings as manager after taking over from Brendan Rodgers the previous month.

Yang Hyun-jun gave the hosts the interval lead following an excellent solo run and unstoppable drive past Jack Butland into the roof of the net.
Unfortunately, the Hoops collapsed in the second-half and lost 3-1. Two days later, the hapless Nancy was sacked and Martin O’Neill returned to the club for his second interim spell in a turbulent campaign that ended with a league and Cup double.
Celtic will also be seen on TV when they travel to face Dundee United at Tannadice on Wednesday, December 30.
The match will kick off at 7.45pm and be shown live on Premier Sports.
